My passion is to dream and put action to that dream. To create with such simplistic ease where you know at that particular moment you are just a muse in that creation. To know there is such great joy far beyond words in following your heart and listening intently to that inner voice that will never steer you wrong. This is the place and space where my passion emerges from.
When I was a young girl maybe around 11 years old, I would remember walking into the Bay and Sears with my mom and getting sprayed or just smelling the melange of strong fragrances lingering in the air that would make me feel nauseated. I would leave the shopping mall feeling sick for the rest of the day. I always thought to myself why did not anyone make women's purfume that was more suttle and soft like the men fragrances. Furthermore, I always wondered why most women products were more inferior in quality compared to men's products. It was only when I got older that I began to understand and realize the sad truth behind marketing strategies. I then said to myself that one day when the opportunity arises I will create my own fragrance that will cater to the needs of the population that was looking for exactly what I was searching for in a purfume. For all the scent that I had liked were only available in body sprays.
The universe truly gives you what you desire, because I then met a brillant chemist who worked with me to create my new fragrance SIMPLICITY No.7 eau de parfum. I wanted to create a fragrance that was soft and made you feel sensual. I wanted to recreate the feeling of ecstacy, as if you were in paradise letting go of all the stress and worries of this world. A moment where you can close your eyes imagine your peace as you inhaled a deep breath and gently release it. I wanted to create a purfume with such yum factor that it makes you want to say Mmmmmmm....and a peaceful note where you can say Aaahhhhhhh..... like you just came out of the shower, washing all your worries away if only for a moment.
Originally I wanted to name my purfume SIMPLICITY, however, when I went to register my name, I was told that SIMPLICITE (the french version since I live in Quebec) was taken. Although it was not related to the cosmetic industry, I still was not allowed to register my name and was given the suggestion to put a number to it. The lady stated why not call it SIMPLICITY No.1, (but in all honesty I was not feeling that at all....lol), So I thought for a bit and since SIMPLICITY was actually the 7th fragrance that Yves-Antoine of pure fragrance and myself created in the trail that I so loved, I decided to go with the no.7. It was funny though, because Yves-Antoine (Habib) did not know that I had already registered my name, and he also suggested adding a number next to SIMPLICITY after the fact. It must have been fate. hhhhhmmmmm....
I was shocked to find out that 90% of the name brand women and male fragrances on the market are eau de toilet. I could not believe how inferior these so call celebrity purfume were and to make it worse they are soooooo....expensive; But as you are aware you are just paying for the name. This was when I realized that I had a really great product. I can definately compete with the best of them. We make it known that we do not do eau de toilet. We only manufacture oil or eau de parfum, and that is a promise we can definately keep. Furthermore, my price is very competive, for a 15ml bottle it is just $20.
One of SIMPLICITY No.7 eau de parfum's ingredient is egyptian amber. This is a scent used for people of high status such as kings, queens and pharoahs. I have decided to offer this to every person who wants to defrenciate themselves from the ordinary. SIMPLICITY No.7 is a product made locally (Montreal) and from the finest of oil fragrances.
